Count finished matches only. To estimate your own mix of wins and losses, use the Pioneer calculator. If you unlock the boost partway through the test, keep the points you already earned and apply boosted awards to future matches.

Two routes to the same boost

  • Twitch: link your Twitch and Ubisoft accounts, then watch participating March of Giants streams for one hour while logged in to Twitch.
  • Discord: join the official March of Giants Discord and follow the instructions in #get-pioneer-booster-here to claim and redeem a booster code.
  • Either route gives the same 20% boost for the rest of the Pioneer Playtest. Using both does not produce a 40% boost.

Rewards that stay with you

Becoming a Pioneer permanently unlocks Pandemos when he arrives on October 12, for this test, future playtests and Early Access. You also receive a Pioneer Medal beside your name in matches and a free Early Access Pack with exclusive profile customizations when Early Access begins.

Early Access has no announced date. Pandemos, Pioneer status and the Early Access Pack carry forward as described above; other unlocked content, including other Giants, does not. Keep ordinary Giant unlocks separate from the Pioneer reward.

Make the match plan practical

Complete Steam access and account setup before planning sessions. Choose a playstyle you can repeat comfortably, and use the beginner guide to keep your focus on finishing matches and taking Bastions. The calculator gives point scenarios, not a promise about match duration or win rate.
