Before the first match
Get playtest access and finish the Ubisoft Connect sign-in before you queue. Choose from your unlocked Giants, then use that Giant’s recommended build as a starting point. Elaris can lean into basic attacks or long-range abilities; the same purchases will not serve both plans equally.
A useful first-match loop
- Move with a purpose: defend a threatened Bastion, support a teammate’s push, or contest an objective.
- Keep your Soldiers involved. They follow your Giant between lanes and can collect Merits and Supplies.
- Spend Supplies on a Battlework that solves the immediate problem rather than deploying one simply because you can.
- After a successful fight, decide which enemy structure or resource position your team can take. The Bastion objective decides the match.
Which system does what?
On small screens, swipe the table to see all columns.
| System | Your decision |
|---|---|
| Soldiers | Redirect charges, scout with smaller groups, and bring your army to the next fight. |
| Battleworks | Reinforce, defend, or break fortified positions using Supplies. |
| Army Camps | Gain resources, vision and shop access; destroy enemy camps for Augment Points. |
| A.M.S. Abomination | Coordinate a team fight after it appears at 12 minutes, then use the Artillery reward. |
Learn one layer at a time
Practise Soldier control before experimenting with every purchase. Once you can bring your army into a push, compare Battleworks by their battlefield job. Add Army Camps and the Abomination to your rotation decisions next.
For a first build experiment, change one direction at a time: basic attacks, abilities, or Soldiers. The build paths guide explains that choice without prescribing a fixed item order.
